MALL SHOWS & FESTIVALS
Wrappin About Reptiles is a hands-on educational organization that informs the public in a very entertaining atmosphere about reptiles and their benefits to nature. In our travels we have visited thousands of children and adults alike across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba with an overwhelming response. We talk about the benefits of reptiles, their loss of habitat, and endangered species, some of which we bring to the shows. Most importantly, we discuss the conservation of not only reptiles but of all wildlife.
Wrappin About Reptiles got it's start back
in 1995 when we were known simply as "The
Reptile Guys".
Dean Harper started his company with a small
but diverse family of reptiles and amphibians
and a mission to educate the public on these
misunderstood creatures and the myths that
follow them. His collection of reptiles has
now grown to well over 250 reptiles in addition
to other exotics.
We are always adding more to our family and one day hope to have one of the largest collections in North America.

When appearing at malls or any other event, we tailor our show to suit audiences of all ages. We provide the public with an opportunity to pet and at some venues even have their picture taken with some of these exotic and rare cold-blooded creatures, such as Giant pythons, Huge Tortoises, Dragons and many others.
The Wrappin About Reptiles display is a combination of an interactive display, static display, with talks throughout the day. During the day the staff is always at the display answering questions and just interacting with the public; this is where most of the hands-on is done, once again giving anyone who wants a chance to touch a reptile if their brave enough.
We have been informed that merchants have observed an increase of mall traffic and sales throughout the malls where we've been set up. With the intrigue and present hype of dinosaurs it is no wonder that peoples fascination with reptiles is so high. With this display the public is both educated and entertained so you could call us an "edutainment" company.
Our staff have all had criminal background checks and been cleared to work with children and are updated yearly.
We are covered by a 2 million dollar liability
insurance.
All of display cages which have the larger
reptiles are key-locked.
We have T-shirts, posters and hats for sale,
we also charge a small fee for pictures taken
with some of the reptiles
Promotional
material must be approved by Wrappin About Reptiles.
Our requirements for set up at or in your facility or event are:
*Power hook-up, 10 - 12 tables (with skirting
if available) depending on size of location.
*If at an outdoor event a power supply.
*A rope boundary to keep the public out of
some settings.
*A minimum 12x12 foot space - but we can
go much larger.
*Empty store bays work amazingly well.
We fill a 12 x 60 space very easily.
We do not charge mileage.
Aside from the live reptiles in our display we also have many items on loan to us from Environment Canada. These are items that have been smuggled into Canada or been bought by unsuspecting travelers. We are one of the few non-government companies to have the privilege to display and talk about these items.

SOME OF OUR REPTILE FAMILY INCLUDES:
Corn snakes to oh my goodness' look at the size of that thing!
Lizards, Tortoises, Amphibians
Tatantulas, and of course BUGS!
The above list is just a sample of what we have and is not a list of what we bring with us all the time due to feedings, shedding, etc. We bring on average 15-20 reptiles with us unless otherwise discussed.

Wrappin About Reptiles has it's reptiles vet inspected 1-2 times per year to insure they are in the best health possible. Because our reptiles are in such excellent health and condition in June of 1998 Walt Disney Productions asked us to be involved in their production of "Noah" starring televisions Tony Danza. Since then we've become involved in various other Movie and TV projects such as:
We always bring some of the reptiles to our shows that we have most recently used in a project.
It is difficult to find healthier, or more stunning reptiles in captivity. We have raised almost all the reptiles from the time they were born or hatched. No one and I swear NO ONE other then staff has been bitten by any of the reptiles! The reptiles and their enclosures are kept immaculately clean as to cut the risk of contracting any germs or bacteria from touching them. They are fed an appropriate diet and live in large habitats with the temperature and humidity requirements that mirrors their natural environments. Although the reptiles are trained, and not aggressive, children are only allowed to pet the reptiles under our very close supervision. Safety is our #1 concern and we have never had an accident in the past 15 years of school programs or our displays! That is over 6000 shows without an incident. We do not bring venomous reptiles to our programs or displays.
