"WRAPPIN ABOUT REPTILES"

Dean Harper, of Olds and owner of the company
"Wrappin About Reptiles", was in
Innisfail at John Wilson Elementary School
on December 3rd. He presented three one hour
sessions on reptiles to the students. Assisting
Dean was James Barbas.
Dean's main goal is to teach about the conservation of reptiles.
He also informed students of which reptiles would make good pets and those that wouldn't.
He travels throughout Alberta giving presentations in schools and libraries.
Reptiles displayed were a 6 ft. male Iguana named "Boomer" and also the mascot (shown above by Dean), California King Snake, Kenya Sand Boa, African Bull Frog, Albino Burmese Python, Normal Colored Burmese Python, and a Reticulated Python, the longest snake in the world which can grow to 33 feet in length.
